Eimear Clowry Delaney

Senior Associate Director

Eimear Clowry Delaney was appointed Senior Associate Director for Notre Dame Dublin in 2021. She is responsible for developing and implementing the university’s vision and strategy in Ireland, building strategic relationships and strengthening Notre Dame’s position as a leader in value-based, experiential, research and global education.

She works to develop key strategic initiatives and is charged with driving effectiveness, efficiencies and collaborations. Ensuring an intellectually enriching and immersive student experience, she develops innovative and effective opportunities for student development to extend cultural competency and intercultural exchange.

She served as Assistant Director from 2014, and Programmes and Communications Manager before that. She has extensive experience in international education, having worked at University College Dublin and Massey University, New Zealand prior to joining Notre Dame. A native of Tullow, County Carlow in Ireland, Eimear earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies in 2005 from Dublin City University and completed a master’s degree in nonprofit management in 2010. Eimear holds a Professional Certificate in Creativity & Innovation in Education from University College Dublin and an Executive Certificate in Leadership from the University of Notre Dame.

Eimear is actively involved in her local community and is founding member of Act Out Youth Theatre and Wild About Navan - an urban nature conservation initiative. She enjoys photography, cycling, painting and kayaking with her husband and two boys.
