The Martello Journal magazine cover. An 1866 oil painting called "The Reluctant Bride" by Auguste Toulmouche is in the background. Purple text with the title "RAGIN'" and "Submissions open 7th Feb" is laid over the image of the painting. Four women in period dresses are in an ornate room. One in a white gown sits calmly as another whispers in her ear, a third holds her hand, and the fourth stands in the background with her hands covering her face.

"The Martello Journal" Issue VI Launch

-

Location: Notre Dame Dublin, O'Connell House, 58 Merrion Square South

The Martello Journal is a Dublin-based literary magazine founded in 2021 by Úna Nolan and Jack McGee, taking its name from the 19th century Martello defensive towers that dot the east coast of Ireland.

RAGIN', the sixth issue of The Martello Journal, asked contributors, "What makes you angry? The world is burning. We’re moving backwards. It’s all going a bit dystopian. It’s a mess. It’s a riot. We’re ragin. Tell us about your rage."

The launch of RAGIN' will be hosted at Notre Dame Dublin's O'Connell House.

This event is invite only. Times are in GMT (Dublin).
