Matthew Egan is a Naughton Fellow pursuing an masters in Climate Adaptation Engineering at Trinity College Dublin.
A native of South Bend, Indiana, Matthew graduated from the University of Notre Dame in May 2025 with a bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Energy Studies.
In addition to his studies, Matthew is a part-time member of the lovely staff at Notre Dame Dublin's O’Connell House. There, he assists with the front of house and event work. In his free time, he is usually doing one of his many hobbies including golf, fishing, basketball, going to the gym, playing the guitar, reading, making art, or hanging out with friends or family.
