Ciaran Casey

Student Life Coordinator

Ciaran Casey is from Gorey, Co Wexford. He champions the holistic wellbeing of all ND students in Ireland and advocates for the needs of all students. He is responsible for the delivery of student events and pastoral support. Ciaran coordinates the community based learning and volunteering initiatives and supports the suite of summer programmes and house events. He supports the evaluation of curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular programming in alignment with Notre Dame Dublin's mission. Furthermore he oversees the support of student diversity and inclusion, mental health, equality, integration, in coordination with the team.

Ciaran graduated from Waterford Institute of Technology, with a B.B. in Sports Management in 2011 and an MSc. in Sports Psychology in 2017 from the University of Stirling. He also holds an Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Executive Coaching from Kingstown College.

Ciaran really enjoys sport and travel. He lived in Malaysia for three years and while there worked with their Olympic team in the area of athlete development. He enjoys hurling, golf, swimming and football. And he also has a passion for Irish literature and culture.
