Dublin Summer Program
The Dublin Summer Program provides undergraduates with an intense summer immersion experience. Students live in Ireland for six weeks, studying Irish history and culture with Notre Dame professors. Our academic offerings include a course in Irish history, and a Theology course. This course satisfies the Developmental Theology core requirement.
The program is defined by the belief that cultural immersion animates the educational experience as much as classroom study. Students partake in a full cultural program, including field trips across the entire island, museum, theater, and gallery visits, guest lectures, sporting events, and musical and theatrical performances.
The first week of the DSP is based at Notre Dame Kylemore, nestled in the hills of Connemara, County Galway. The next four weeks students are based in Dublin, taking at Notre Dame Dublin's O'Connell House. The final week of the program based in County Sligo on the Wild Atlantic Way. The program offers access to the best of Ireland — the vibrant contemporary metropolis of Dublin, the ancient castles and cathedrals of the south-east, and the waters and the wild of Ireland's Atlantic coast.

Engineering Summer Program
The Engineering Summer Program allows undergraduate students in the College of Engineering the opportunity to experience Ireland to its fullest while taking two classes that fulfill major or technical elective requirements, depending on the course offering each summer.
The program opens with a week based out of Notre Dame Kylemore, exploring Connemara and the western counties of Ireland. Students spend the following four weeks in Dublin, taking their courses at University College Dublin, with afternoon excursions in and around the greater county. The program ends with a week in Sligo, exploring the Wild Atlantic Way on the western coast of Connacht.
Mendoza Summer Program
The Mendoza Summer Program is a three-week immersion program designed to facilitate an experience abroad in Ireland for students of the Mendoza College of Business during the summer. Students will take one three-credit class that can count towards either a major or college requirement.
The academic program will be supplemented by a full cultural program, including field trips across the entire island allowing students to get to know Ireland beyond their academic coursework.
The program opens on Ireland’s west coast in Sligo, home of William Butler Yeats, and the following two weeks will be spent in Dublin, taking their courses at Notre Dame Dublin's O'Connell House with full access to the capital city.

Pre-College Study Abroad: Ireland
The programs offered by the Office of Pre-College Programs at Notre Dame offer high school students a chance to engage in immersive summer study. Since 2017, Notre Dame Dublin, together with Notre Dame Kylemore, has hosted a two-week program highlighting Irish culture, history, and literature. Participants spend a week based in Dublin exploring Ireland's east coast: from the vibrant capital city, to Belfast in the North, the Wicklow Mountains and the coast of Wexford. The second week focuses on the West of Ireland: the beauty of the wild Connemara landscapes, and the living culture of rural Connaught. High schoolers can earn a college credit and experience the Notre Dame classroom before the college admissions process begins.
