Book Interview: Clíona Ní Ríordáin on The Poets and Poetry of Munster

Clíona Ní Ríordáin began her tenure as Thomas J. and Kathleen M. O’Donnell Chair in Irish Language and Literature in August 2023. Before joining Notre Dame, she taught Irish literature and translation studies at the Sorbonne Nouvelle from 2003-2023. 

Ní Ríordáin's latest book The Poets and Poetry of Munster, co-authored with Stephanie Schwerter, covers 100 years since the foundation of the state of Ireland in 1922.
